I have asked SO many people this question, and maybe I am asking the wrong people, but there seems to be a resounding "no", and this makes me a bit sad.
Antibiotics are amazing at killing bacteria, but they unfortunately are unable to decipher between the good strains (that you NEED for a good immune system, digestion, etc) and the bad strains that may be the culprit for your illness.
Yeast loves when there is not enough good bacteria to keep it away. Once the coast is clear and enough good bacteria have left the building, yeast is allowed to grow uncontrolled. YIKES. (and in case you couldn't tell, yeast is not something you want to grow uncontrolled in your body.)
Studies show that a daily probiotic reduced CHOLESTEROL by 12% more than those that took a placebo. The liver uses cholesterol to make bile. Researchers believe that probiotics break up bile salts and decrease reabsorption into the gut!
Probiotics support digestive and immune systems by increasing nutrient absorption and waste elimination.
I take one everyday, and the one I take right now is Young Living Life 9. I do like to rotate probiotics so I do switch brands, but I always rotate in YL Life 9!

From the Young Living blog:
Life 9Containing over 17 billion live cultures from 9 beneficial bacteria strains, Life 9™ is a probiotic supplement that supports digestive health and gut and intestinal functions, leading to a healthier immune system. With a special bottle and cap to ensure freshness, these capsules also contain special delayed-release technology so the ingredients release in the small intestine.
Fun fact: Most of your energy after meals is used for digestion. With a healthier gut, you will maintain higher levels of energy to make it through that post-lunch I-still-have-four-hours-of-work-left slump.
